May we invite you to contribute to the next
Independent Working Class Education Network
Evening Meeting in London on
Thursday 29th June. 5.45 – 8.00
Boardroom 1, Unite the Union, Moreland St. (near Angel Tube).
We’d welcome short presentations on the history of the Labour Party and its
ambivalent relationship with socialism, the unions and progressive movements in society.
But more importantly, ideas on the Labour Party’s present and future.
Where did the Corbyn Surge come from? What do the hundreds of thousands
of young people who’ve recently joined want? What role do Momentum (and Progress)
play? What would our ideal Labour Party look like?
What are your ideas? IWCE Events are always participatory and non-sectarian.
It is hoped that some of the Forward-Looking presentations might contribute to
a Special Edition of “Post-16 Educator”.
